Johnny

I second that. Bob is an inspiration to us all and a kindhearted pilgrim who gives and gives and gives. I've enjoyed finally meeting him in person at San Martin and sharing stories.

You are the ultimate pilgrim Bob. Thankyou fit all that you do for the pilgrims.

Much love.
Sue

However you have been very modest in not sharing with everyone your plan to walk from Le Puy next year and that fact that several of us have offered to accompany you if for nothing more than to witness a new Wonder of the World...which on a serious note is exactly what my colleagues in the Pilgrims´Office thought of you and the rest of the Camino of the Caracoles 2013. We have the fondest memories of your victorious arrival and we salute your collective committment not only to your recent pilgrimage but to the individual contributions you have made to the Camino over many years.

I first met Kathy Gower at a gathering in San Francisco in 1998 and several times since at other gatherings in the US and at a surprise meeting at the Peaceable Kingdom in Moratinos. I met George Greenia first at a Santa Fe gathering and again at the first Santa Barbara gathering. Possibly at Boulder as well, but I can't remember now. I first met Rebekah Scott and Michel Besson when we were on a panel discussion at the Boulder gathering. Later I had the good fortune to make a couple of visits to Rebekah's Peaceable Kingdom.

It was not so much a neglect, but more a taking for granted. Johnny is not one of the visiting veteran caministas, but more like a permanent fixture, like statue of Santigo.
