[Gocamino] [saintjames] Santiago/french route

I wonder why there is that insistence on that last 100km?

You could  walk all the way from St Jean Pied de Port to Sarria and for some personal reason then take the bus from there to Santiago.  Despite stamps along the walking route, they will not offer a Compostela.

I don't understand it.
