Hello again,
In the legal profession there is an adage that states that "the fish dies by its mouth". This truism was confirmed during the repeated interrogation of the electrician suspected of purloining the Codex from the Cathedral. While for months he had steadfastly denied being involved in the theft, and consistently had answered when questioned about details, that he "didn't know", or "couldn't remember", at one point the interrogating officer mentioned that the Codex had been burned, upon which the suspect emphatically declared : "No, it hasn't been burned". Pursuant to such declarations the police intensified the examination of the suspect's, and his family's, activities since the robbery, and reportedly under such pressure one of them revealed the whereabouts of the Codex at a garage in Milladoiro about which the police knew nothing.
The amount of money found in the electrician's other properties was One Million Two Hundred Thousand Euros.
And lastly, the Dean, heretofore in charge of the Cathedral's archives, has been relieved of such post.
I guess all's well that ends well.
Hugs!
Rosina
