Is it possible to post them in one of these forums? It seems that photos posted in FaceBook are only available to hose who sign up for FaceBook. I don't have the nerve to do that. I have heard too many horror stories about the so-called social network sites.

A few thoughts about being up there. While it is incredibly beautiful 
it's also very cold, there was little wind, lot's of sun but even though 
I was wearing thermals, thick corduroy trousers, and a fleece lined 
jacket I could still feel it. If you go off the beaten track snowshoes 
are a necessity and a pair of poles with snow rings at the tips.
I'm going to try driving up route Napoleon from the St Jean side 
tomorrow but suspect I won't get much beyond the road turning off to 
Arneguy because with the lack of tree cover on the French side of the 
route there tends to be much more drifting.
I'll take this opportunity to wish you all well for the coming festive 
season.
