Whiile I thank you for your concern, there is absolutely no need for it. I was sick for a short while but I am quite well now, Although busier than usual; and then, of course, the Richard Wagner festival in Bayreuth played havoc with my plans: going to it I wasn't able to resist some of the other mini Wagner festivals that are held all over Germany, and there went both the summer and my work schedule.
Anyway, I am planning to go to Santiago this year, either for Thanksgiving or right after Christmas to visit Mari, who runs the Pilgrims' office, and her new baby David, and Susana, the secretary of the Archconfraternity, and her new baby girl Claudia. I can't wait. I will also try catch up with Camino-related new developments.
Meantime, I've made time to read, and thoroughly enjoy, Sil's new book "YOUR CAMINO"; I can't imagine a more practically helpful publication for any pilgrim; Sil has covered virtually every eventuality and need of the pilgrimage, and her advice is rendered as though she were a kindly and wise mentor for anyone who ever planned to make the dream of the Camino become a personal, and permanent reality. Well done, Sil!
As soon as I have some time, I will convey some of the most noteworthy items of information sent to me over the past few months.
Hugs!
Rosina
