Nearly 60,000 pilgrims arrived in the Galician capital from 1 January to 31
May. Never in history have so many people marched in front of the tomb of
the Apostle. In fact, arguing that many of them were running, without seeing
the botafumeiro fly, the Archbishopric of Santiago just enable preferential
access to the cathedral reserved for those who carry the compostela, located
