Bob mentions in his book 'All The Good Pilgrims' the cafe in Castrojeriz. Many of you have had cafe con leche there, it's the place with the huge wooden screw previously used as a winepress. The building started it's life as a sinagoga, then became the bodega, and finally the cafe. La dueña told us the history of her edifice, and showed a fierce pride in the history of her town. We bought the Camino 'pins' of Castrojeriz, their motto containing the phrase 'Muy Noble y Muy Leal' ..'very loyal'. Seemed to fit.
