[Gocamino] via de plata in winter

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has walked the Via de la Plata in 
November/December.  How isolated is it at that time of year?  How safe is it 
to walk alone?

Also has anyone been on the Camino at Christmas or New Years?  Are refugios 
open then?

I walked the Camino Frances a couple of years ago, and found the advice of 
list members so valuable.  I'd be grateful for any advice.
