Hello you all,
Five years ago a pre-Camino Camino was established in Brasil and called "Caminho do Sol"? (Way of the Sun). Its aim is to keep the purpose of the Santiago Camino alive and vibrant in Brasil and to afford preparation for future? pilgrims thereto.

The self-styled modern Templar, Tomas Majarin, has visited Brasil twice to traverse the Caminho do Sol and?the redoubtable Jesus Jato of Villafranca del Bierzo, who placed? the founding stone of the project, donated to it an image of the Apostle Santiago. (Most Brasilians I know are puzzlingly fond of magic and such things, as are Jesus and Tomas, as we well know.......???????? ).

The genus of the project Instituto Caminho do Sol? (Way of the Sun Institute) came from Jose Carlos Palma who, together with other members of the Institute, will participate in the Jaca Pilgrims' Forum that will be held on September 20 to 23).? The Brasilian group will then walk the Camino segments in Aragon, La Rioja and Castille.
