Those pilgrims that would have qualified for the Compostela  except for the non "pietatis causa" motivation of their pilgrimage are included in the  numbers posted.

Oops!  I didn't read Rosina's post properly but having done so now, I see
hat those receiving the alternate certificate are included in the numbers.
n 2006  100 377 pilgrims were received in Santiago.  8 858 of these
rofessed a Cultural motive.
o, I presume that my camino will be recorded in the September 2007 stats.
