[Gocamino] Convicted ones on the Camino

Cherie et al:

My two pesetas (oops, euros) on this is to go from Villafranca to Ruitelan,
where you'll find the best refugio in the area (my humble opinion). From
there, the next day's walk to O Cereibro is not too arduous or long. As Rosina
says, rest along the way often. When we stayed in Ruitelan (after taking the
long route through the hills from Villafranca) a French pilgrim we had
encountered nearly spent along the road got a foot massage from the
hospitalero. From then on, whenever we ran into the Frenchman, he looked as if
he'd just stepped out of a spa, with a spring in his step and a smile on his
face. Ruitelan also offers a lovely blend of eastern and western religions,
with the Pope and the Dalai Lama sharing equal space on a wall of pictures.
And you can soak your feet in the little river that runs on the other side of
the street.

The day walking from Villafranca and the night in Ruitelan remain, even though
it was the only day my daughter and I argued, one of the best days in memory
of the Camino.
