I dutifully sent off an Email to AGACS in support of the protest march, 
info at amigosdelcamino.com, and have received a reply.

Muchas, muchísimas gracias, a todos los que desde la distancia nos estáis 
ayudando en esta batalla por el Camino. En vísperas del día de Santiago, le 
pedimos al Apóstol, y a su espíritu, que nos de valor, coraje y ánimo para 
defender un bien universal que pertenece a todos, pero sobre todo a sus 
peregrinos. Desde Santiago de Compostela, a todos los que nos estáis 
ayudando, gracias infinitas. Un gran abrazo y un gran Camino para vosotros.
