[Gocamino] Botafumeiro.... not yet. Belvis... not yet

Hello you all,
New problems have developed with the Botafumeiro and it looks like it's going to be a long haul.
After the new rope was put in place a large piece of concrete was tied to it to test the rope's resistance, and the weight stretched the rope more than a yard.
The reason, it seems, is that the new rope is made of synthetic materials and not of natural ones and this synthetic materials give out.
(If those taking care of the problem had consulted us women, who have been wearing "nylons" forever, we would have told them that synthetics stretch).
Oh... well!
The Belvis seminary albergue remains closed. As mentioned before, the Xunta and the Archdiocese finally obtained municipal legislation to allow?its enlargement and reconstruction, which, surely, will take some time.? Meanwhile, pilgrims will have to walk?the four up-and-down kilometers to Monte el Gozo or?try to find a private albergue in the city.
They can, of course, take a bus to and from El Gozo. The buses depart from?Plaza Espanha, at the edge of the casco, and return there.? I wonder if pilgrims?know.?
The good news is that the signs leading arriving pilgrims to the Cathedral have been completed and put in place and, hopefully, not many pilgrims will get lost.
