Thanks to all who have given advice about the complex world of telecommunications.  There certainly are too many options, But I will continue my study with your ideas.  I am leaning to the prepaid option so that I can communicate with my husband (incoming call) for free.  
   
  have noticed that many of you are leaving in May to walk.  I will think of you, and wish you well, as I finish up my teaching year.
