Do you know if it is possible to 'walk' el camino on horse- or mule-back? Are there any places in Le Puys where I can lease a horse for a few weeks? I am sure I heard that it is a valid pilgrimage when carried out on horseback, but where does one get the horse? If it is possible, do the refugios have overnight facilities for the animal?
