Hello you all,
The Voz de Galicia reports that a 36-year-old Greek pilgrim who had made his way to Fisterre together with some fellow pilgrims, went to the Cape to enjoy the sunset. While there, he ventured to the edge of the reef and fell off some distance downward. Because of injuries suffered he couldn't move. Since the site where he landed was pretty inaccessible his companions notified the Civil Guard, the local police and the Civil Protection volunteers. As he couldn't be reached, and the rising tide threatened to carry him away, a Civil Guard helicopter had to rescue him; he was then taken to the Cee Hospital.
The helicopter had to go back to rescue a U.S.A. visitor who had climbed down the reef trying to help the fallen pilgrim and had gotten lost.

The newspaper also reports that the Civil guard in Corcubion arrrested, on Thursday morning, a 42-years old resident of San Sebastian, in the Basque country, visiting Fisterre, and charged him with the theft of a backpack belonging to a female Dutch pilgrim who was staying at the Fisterra albergue. The backpack and its contents, valued at 3,000 Euros, were recovered and the suspect was detained for judicial proceedings.
