Here are a couple of guidebooks:

The one you are speaking of is "A Practical Guide For Pilgrims The Road To
Santiago" by Millan Bravo Lozano, Everest Publishing. Make sure you specify
English. I used the CSJ guide, left the book at home, but TOOK THE MAPS.
Fabulous maps. Best I've seen. Amazon.com has it:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/8424138333/qid=1110742515/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl14/104-3371540-1549540?v=glance&s=books&n=507846

Another one is:
"A Pilgrim's Guide to the Camino Frances: From St. Jean Pied De Port to
Santiago De Compostela" by John Brierley. A very good book, the maps are
integrated into the text. Again Amazon has it:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1844090108/ref=pd_bxgy_img_2/104-3371540-1549540?v=glance&s=books&n=507846

Onward!
