Intellectual curiosity, interest in exploring cultural and historical sites,
sense of adventure, personal challenge, romantic involvement with the people
and regions of Spain, comraderie with fellow pilgrims to name a few reasons
that a non-Christian like me went.  You don't have to be a Christian to go to see
the Sistine Chapel or go to St. Pauls or Westminster Abbey in London.
