Oh, how I love packing lists!

I am in Salamanca just now taking a rest day and I think your list
should be shortened up a bit.  Just the bare bare minimum.  Especially
on the Via de la Plata.  The stretches are really long and most days
just nothing in between.  Weather is getting warmer now (Mar 20th) and
more water needed.  This is a wonderful journey and I have only met two
other walkers in two and a walk weeks.  Some difficulty in a couple of
villages as no accomodation at all, and books were wrong.  More on that
later.  If you are going shortly and need specific information please
ask and I will try to answer.
