More 2003 pilgrims data

Hello you all,
Of the 74,614 pilgrims who received the Compostela in Santiago last year
29,967 were women and 44,647 were men.
A religious motive for the pilgrimage was cited by 69,591 of the pilgrims,
and an educational-cultural reason by 5,123.
260 of the pilgrims followed the English Way, 1,845 the Via de la Plata,
3,058 the Northern Way, 3,612 the Portuguese Way and 65,829 the French Way.
3 pilgrims went by wheelchair, 266 on horseback, 13,624 bicycled and 60,721
walked.
131 pilgrims received their Compostela in January,  176 in February, 690 in
March,  4,013 in April,  6,351 in May,  8,817 in June,  16,353 in July,  21,795
in August,  10,031 in September,  4,871 in October,   928 in   November and
458 in December.
The ages of the pilgrims were:  over 75 years of age, 197;  70/75 496; 66/70,
1,919;  61/65, 4,297;  56/60, 5,236;  51/55, 5,719;  46/50, 6,308;  41-45,
6,160;  36/40, 6,119;  31/35, 7,488;  26/30, 9,801;  21/25, 8,044;  16/20,
9,352; and  11/15, 3,478.
2,294 of the pilgrims were housewives;  544 managers;  8,163 clerks;  19,050
students;  3,860 government employees;  9,183 professionals;  5,109
blue-collar workers;  6,775 teachers;  132 nuns;  9,817 technicians;  591 priests;
6,929 retired;  38 professional sports persons;  103 seamen;  226 farmers;  826
artists;  1,193 unemployed and 1 Oikoten.
