Latin translation

Hi,
Can someone translate Latin as it appears in the Chant des Pelerins de
Compostelle? (i.e. the middle line)
Ultreia, ultreia
E sus eia
Deus, adjuva nos!

Is E sus actually Esus, meaning Jesus?

P.S. by Bob. My own take on the line in question is that it is supposed
to be: E suseia. That would make the two lines together as: Ultreia
e(t) suseia, which I took to mean upward and onward - or some such.
