I am sure that you of all people know this, but actually it is Anno
Domini and CE stands the Common, not Christian Era to be more inclusive
that the old AC.  Thank you for sending such detailed descriptions of
your experiences and give us all the vicarious experience of being
there.

I plan to be in Italy soon myself, but have envied your Christmas in
Assisi
