Yes it’s the Holy Year and also the busy year. The amphitheatre in Monte
Gozo will be upgraded to have concerts  for me not so well know groups, but
one keeps to mind: Iggy something.
In the first 4 moths of this year 800.000 came to gallicia, which is 24%
more than in the former Holy Year 1999.
The alberques saw in these months 69.455 pilgrims, which is 33.2% more than
in 1999 and even 134 % more than last year.
About 75 % choose to walk (part) of the Camino Frances, then:
*       Portuguese way-           8.304 pilgrims
*       De la plata                    2.452 pilgrims
*       Camino de Fisterra –     2.313 pilgrims
*       Camino del Norte-         1532 pilgrims
*       English Camino            972 pilgrims
*       Camino primitivo           445 pilgrims
