  Apart from all the wise words let's not forget that it is one of the oldest ways in the world, a pilgrimage done in 800 can still be done in whatever form, still up till this day...
  In doing this you're part of a large congregation of famous and sometimes ill - famous pilgrims( persons). In doing so you're in a line of history of 1300 years, by doing it you're also upholding this tradition...and there are only a few tradition that date back so long.
  It's wise not only to train yourself...but also to study the history of the Camino and in this way you will appreciate it more
