In my own case, I consider it to be obsessive-compulsive behavior, but I

hope that for you and others it is something less demeaning. I have also

thought that there might be some sort of innate nomadic tendency that

can only be fulfilled by being on the road - like walking the camino or

the solo self-contained bicycle trips that I have done in the U.S. or

even the long motor trips to the tip of the Baja California and back. If

I were born in the tens instead of the twenties, I think that I might

well have been a hobo.
