Santiago riding down the waves

Dear all,

The only source I know of related to the sea and a horse is the story of a
Flemish noble man who was on his horse in the neighborhood of Monte Michel
(France) on his way to Santiago
He thought to take a shortcut through the low waters of the tide...however
the tide got in much faster than expected and he saw his pilgrimage to be
drowned. He called out for help to Santiago and immediately a bridge of
shells appeared underfoot and he could safely reach the mainland
