Woman walking alone, time for me to go

I joined the listserv about a month ago in preparation for El Camino. I must say it has been most informative and enjoyable. I feel I am better prepared, but know you can't be fully prepared. The unexpected is the best part of El Camino. (though this is my first time and I could be wrong)

I was going to ask about a woman traveling alone but knew I would figure it out when I got there. I was/am walking alone, and nothing would/will change that. I can't remember who asked about a woman traveling alone, but thank you and I wish you all the luck in the world. If you want to experience the Camino you will do so on your own time, for your own reasons and don't make excuses. It has taken me three years to finally get there. I leave on Sunday for Spain, will work for 10 days and walk for 18. (arriving in Pamplona on the 10th, for those of you who will be there)

I am a strong woman, yet overweight and nothing can stop me now!!! As life has it I will meet people like Douglass, it is the part of the reality of the Camino...there are all walks of life. I look forward to my return to join you all again and help others in their journey to Spain, journey to El Camino, journey of life.

Thank you to all, and I look forward to seeing you on the trail!!!
