I must admit I wasn't too impressed with this one.  The bunks were very close together and (on the day I was there) everybody seemed to be somewhat depressed, the holspitalera was very officious and the doors closed at 9.30.

In fact we checked out of there and went to stay in the Youth Hostal down near the Civil Guard barracks. Your credential will get you in if you don't have a IYHA card and the cost is the same.  The rooms have just four double bunks in each, are lockable and it was so empty (late September) that three of us had a room to ourselves.  There were huge washrooms with coin operated washers and they were open all night.

On the other hand I've spoken with people who stayed in the convent and simply loved it . . .
