Joe,
Rebekah was NOT making generalisations--she was speaking about a BOOK she
had read that made those comments.  She was simply making observations about
what the author was saying, and then stating her belief that one ought to
travel simply on a pilgrimage.  I would urge everyone to read the messages
more carefully before responding.
