What comes first, the Cathedral, or the Pilgrims' Office?

I cannot imagine doing ANYTHING in Santiago until you go to the church!  For
me,  that was my goal,  not the certificate.  Of course,  I, then went to the
office and back to the cathedral.   And I kept visiting it throughout the
duration of my stay in Santiago.  In doing so,  I was priviliged to see the
botafumero in action.   Wouldn't have missed IT for the world.
