Sept-Oct 2003 Hotels

I am Elyse Chance from Austin, Texas, and I've recently joined this listserv, lurking mostly up
till now.

I have wanted to do the Walk for at least 15 or 20 years, this year I'm thinking it's now or
never.  Having said that, I have a couple of questions I have not seen addressed thus far:

If I actually walk only the final 100 km, and I choose to stay in hotels on occasion, instead of
refugios or albergues, am I likely to have problems finding hotels along the way?  That is, will I
sometimes have no choice but to do refugios?  And, how expensive are hotels likely to be, for a
single?
