Thank you Jeffery, and everyone, for your thoughts and prayers. My son is okay: two broken legs but no head injuries (other than those I amy have given him while raising him!  :-)   ).
Baby will be a perigrino!
Mom, me, is very blessed to be able to help a bit with bills. So they'll be okay.

On the bright side your son is still alive and will, I hope, make a full recovery; you are about to become a grandmother!

Now, out of necessity your son and daughter-in -law will be able to spend those first few weeks togeter with their new child. A magical time. Just remind him that Mom will require even more rest than a father whose legs are in plaster! I presume he can be left safely 'holding the baby'?

I'm off to the city with which you share your penname with so will be unsubscribing for a while at the end of the week but don't forget to let us know if baby is a perigrina or perigrino!
