George, et al...

Thank you for your kind input. You all have been very gracious and generous
in giving some really great Camino information.  There are a few zillion
aspects of this pilgrimage as we all well know.  However, the purpose of
this listserv with all this "other" dialogue, IMO, has bastardized the main
purpose for why we are here in cyberspace to begin with.  If you want to
discuss politics and whatever political culture that you thrive in, then
join a listserv that does that.  All the sentiments that were mentioned and
continue to be mentioned are/were valuable and offered some great insight
into some people's hearts and well as their culture.  This is not about
freedom of speech, this is not about anything of the sort.  This listserv
for me meant gaining valuable information about the Camino and REMAINING
FOCUSED ON THAT TOPIC. Because I feel that this listserv is going in another
direction, here are the last three words that I will have to say here and
those words are...

Megan,

I do not think a faciliator is necessary.  The members of the list and the
moderator are sufficient.  If someone says something totally unacceptable,
it is the duty of the moderator. Otherwise, the members of the list can take
care of themselves with their replies.  For everything I found offensive
(and you would probably have a different list of items) there were several
replies by members.
