Outerwear in June and July

Why not combine both jackets into one? In 2001 I bought a lighweight gortex jacket (completely
waterproof and breathable) especially for the Camino. Yes, it was a little expensive (mine was about
$150), but it keeps you dry in the rain, and warm when the evenings are cool. It was one of the best
investments I ever made. Even after keeping it tightly rolled up and stuffed into my backpack
whenever I didn't need it during my Camino time, it still looks brand new to this day and is my
favorite jacket to wear when the weather threatens rain.
