Question re: torso length

Hi!

I've been reading the lastest questions/comments about packs, etc.  I am a
tall woman, 5'9", and therefore need a pack that doesn't fit too
"shortwaisted".  I currently use a Kelty Redwing, but I feel that may be too
heavy for the Camino.  How do you go about measuring torso length?  From the
nape of the neck to the waist?  Or the top of the hips? Any advice would be
appreciated.
