Hi,

After 6 months of reading others' postings, it is time to become an active
member of the group. I hope to do 100 kms of the pilgrimage in May,to mark
my 50th year, and have been soaking up all the hints and advice. Thanks to
everybody for their contributions.

I teach English to international students at La Trobe Uni. Language Centre
(Melbourne). I think I first heard about Santiago from my parents, who
have had two trips there and kindled my interest in the area. However,I
have read so much that it seems to have been part of my life for ages.

I'll continue to read the postings, and hope to contribute some advice on
my return.
