My first thought when I read this was, "Yeah, but what about the weight?"
Then it occurred to me to weigh mine - which is much like yours, one of those
little three spring deals. I was surprised to find that is is only 50 gm -
the same as one pair of double A cells. I didn't have it when I was on the
camino, but weight would not have been an important issue if I had considered
taking it.
