Getting to Saint Jean Pied-de-Port

Hi Bob,
We've traveled from Paris to Lourdes on the train a couple of times. It
is very easy. If you don't have a hotel yet, you might consider the
Imperial or Notre Dame de Sartres. To get to SJPP, you take the train
from Lourdes to Bayonne, then transfer to a train/bus (depends on what's
running that day) from Bayonne to SJPP. There are two trains from
Lourdes. One leaves early in the morning (around 6)and gets you to SJPP
about 10 am. The other gets you there in the afternoon. Enjoy Lourdes.
It's a wonderful place to transition from the busy world to the Camino.
