Is the luxurious and (very) expensive wool of the Kashmir goat (which comes
from the disputed mountainous territory between India and Pakistan).
Supremely warm and as light as a feather. Squidges down to a tiny volume.
I have a beautiful cashmere sweater which is carefully handwashed in
Woolite.
I 'd imagine hand scrubbing for 6 weeks on the Camino would reduce it to a
rag.
I DID take a silk sleeping bag liner last time though :o)
