We purchased one-way Santiago - Madrid tickets from Iberia the last day of
June and paid 75 Euros each, which was the discounted price (from about
110). We paid exactly the same as the least expensive web-fare announced at
that time on www.iberia.es , although there were no seats available at that
price on the website. If you can purchase tickets in advance for 30-ish
euros, go for it. The disadvantage is that you need to know the date well in
advance, and at that price, the tickets will be 100% non-refundable with no
changes allowed. Also keep in mind that the Iberia offices are closed
Sunday-Monday although their phone reservations are open, and you show you
compostella and pick up your tickets at the airport.
