If you (or anyone) should have such a description of the Route Napoleon, would you please post it somewhere??  I would love to see what I should have looked at before I walked it (given the fact that I apparently missed an important marker).

At the acceuil de peregrinos (where you need to go for a reservation for the
Refugio) you can get a discription of the route Napoleon. Also actual
information on the weather is available there.
