Hello you all,
Five months after his demise, on May 2,  Friends of Santiago Associations
from Ventosa, Villafranca and Torres del Rio placed a memorial cross
precisely at the site where the body of Antonio  Jorge Ferreira was found, on
January 3,  near Vancarlo.
There was a small religious service at the site, with the Guardia Civil
rescuers in attendance which was also attended by the many pilgrims who were
on their way to Roncesvalles.
HIis widow, sister, and two family members  are walking to Santiago where a
commemorative Mass will be said for all pilgrims that have lost their lives
during the pilgrimage.
