You can probably rent one from your cell phone provider for a daily charge.
They are specially programmed for Europe. The regular US-programmed cell
phones will not work over there. It's expensive, but should you need it for
an emergency, I think you would think it was a bargain! My provider charges
about $10/day, as I recall. Hope this is helpful.
