Hi Denise,

I wrote to the Spanish Tourism Board and they sent me a map of El Camino as
well as other information.  As for flying you have to check what airlines
fly to Madrid from CA. Or you can fly to NY, Boston or Chicago and then to
Madrid or Paris from there.  Some people fly to Paris and then train/bus it
down to St. Jean on the Spanish border.  Others fly to Madrid and take the
bus up to Roncevalles and start there.  A good place to find cheap flights
is the Sunday NY Times in their Travel section.  Look for the tiny ads that
Consolidators put in where they list major world cities and the fares.  What
they do is buy blocks of seats from the airlines and sell them cheaper than
you would get from the airlines themselves or travel agents.
