Hello you all,
I entire agree with Katie's comments. Race and nationalities' stereotyping is quite offensive whether or not used in a humorous attempt.  Further, I have been on the Camino three times and have conversed with scores and scores of pilgrims, refuge care-takers, restaurant and hotel owners, monks, nuns, etc. etc.  and I have never, not once, heard such characterizations from anyone anywhere.
