Train destinations

When I started in St. Jean Pied du Port, I flew into Paris, took a high
speed train to Bayonne and then a local to St. Jean. I remember doing it
this way because the agents for the rail line told me it would be very
difficult to get to St. Jean from Spain using public transportation.
Perhaps I did not receive good information, but you might try looking into
trains to Bayonne as well. St. Jean is a short distance from Bayonne and
the trains run frequently. Buen camino! Barbara
