Security

hi all,
just to add in my two cents about both security and facilities. stuff
people have already said has been spot on. i would add that many of
the refuges this past summer either didn't supply toilet tissue or
would run out fairly quickly...so its good to bring your own.
as to security...i met several people that had stuff go missing but
it was always in the refugios in the big cities (whether through
theft or merely the confusion of having so many people in the same
place i don't know). i found it to be much more relaxing to through
hike some of the larger towns during the day and stay in the smaller
refugios. they tended to be cleaner, quieter, and friendlier.
