I'm somewhat reticent to ask anything from this group in case it has already
been addressed before and I will be told to look it up in the archives :-((

But I'll take the risk....I'm thankful that there are plenty of helpful folk
here who are willing to share their experiences time and time again. I
seriously hope to be able to do the same on my return from the Camino...

Anyway, I'm slightly nervy about how I should best secure my rucksack/gear
once I have arrived at a Refugio. Is it safe to just leave it on my
bunk-bed whilst I go out for a meal in the evening (assuming of course that
I don't leave wads of dosh sticking out) or do I need to take it with me all
the time? I feel real guilty in asking this question as it suggests that
that perhaps not everyone is 100 per cent pucker even though that is what I
would like to believe. Personally, I am inclined to leave my kit on the
bed and take valuables with me; but my mates tell me I'm naive and am just
asking for bother. Any advice on this would be well received.
