Hola;
You might hear from a bunch of people. Just put "Camino de Santiago" in
your search engines and stand back. There are a multitude of sites which
will give you all the info you can handle. You will spend hours reading.
Put out on your bed what you think you will need, put half of it back. I
have biked the Camino and had a couple of chances to reduce the amount of
stuff I carried and it was good that I did. Fortunately we had no rain, no
flat tires, no lost spokes, etc. We biked the paved roads and it was
wonderful. We made no plans but stayed in hotels. We covered 512 miles in
ten days. Go to "OKspain" web site for materials. Read the Pilgrim's Guide
to Santiago de Compostela to get historical flavor, author is Melczar (sp).
Spanish tourist dept will give you a guide which will list every foot of the
pilgrimage route, all the hostals, restaurants, churches, castles, ruins,
gas stations, bridges, etc.
Any more questions, write again.
