The 19th of June this year I noticed a primitive tent of plastic under a big tree shortly
before the steep descent to Molinaseca. Outside the tent there was an old ragged
sofa.
On the way down to Molinaseca a sepguate... a segtuap... a man in his seventies came
walking up the track. I stepped aside to let him pass, but he stepped aside for me and
friendly insisted that I continue. We had a little conversation (my Spanish is almost
non-existing) and he told me, that the tent I had passed was his and that he helps
pilgrims with their blisters, tendonitis etc. He asked me if I had any problems with my
feet. One word my meagre Spanish vocabulary holds is "ampollas", and he told me
that I should put my feet into cold water as often as possible. The very opposite to
what I earlier had been adviced to do (and which hadn't worked).
The man probably was the Balindo Luna you mention, dandekay.

A Very Happy New Year to Everybody.
